As a Senior Helpers of Annapolis caregiver, you make a lasting impact that betters the lives of our clients AND their families. Senior Helpers of Annapolis caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their home. We fit your area of expertise to the seniors you’ll care for. Requirements
- You are passionate about helping others
- You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
- You want to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life
- Proof of a current tuberculosis (TB) test (within 2 years)
- Valid CPR certification prior to working with clients
- Pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
- Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
- Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
- Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
- Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
