About The Position

Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as part-time Caregivers in the Wayzata area. This role involves providing non-medical elderly care and home companionship, assisting seniors in living as fully and independently as possible within their own homes. Responsibilities include helping with daily tasks such as laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding. The position also involves providing companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments, ensuring their dignity and well-being are prioritized. Caregivers are expected to complete shift documentation and communicate client needs to the office.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Current valid driver's license
• 18 years of age
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years of home care experience (caring for a loved one counts).

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship.
• Assist with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene.
• Aid with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding.
• Provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates.
• Communicate routinely with the office about client condition and needs.
