About The Position
AbriCare is seeking dedicated CareGivers to join their growing team in the North Kansas City, Missouri, area. The role involves providing essential personal care and individualized support to clients in their homes, allowing them to maintain independence and a high quality of life. Requirements
- A compassionate and reliable nature
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Dedication and a willingness to learn
- CareGivers with Advanced Personal Care (APC) and/or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are strongly encouraged to apply; APC or CNA certification a plus, but not required
- Reliable transportation plan
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- A working smartphone (for time and attendance usage)
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Providing medication reminders
- Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful activities
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Completing essential shopping and errands (not transporting clients)
