About The Position
AmeriCare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improving their quality of life.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background checks and any required certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' health and wellbeing.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients' families and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.
