About The Position

Comfort Keepers is now hiring in-home caregivers. We are looking for help with new clients during mornings, afternoons, and evenings. You tell us when you are available to work! Caregivers earn $18.00 per hour and are eligible for free CNA classes in Nisswa after 5 months of employment. If a caregiver is certified, the wage increases to $20.00 per hour. This position offers part-time or full-time hours and includes working every other weekend.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal cares
• Must have had driver's license for at least 3 years
• Personal vehicle to use during shift
• Clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with all personal care needs as needed
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and in compliance
• Provide errands and transportation with own vehicle
• Assist with housekeeping tasks
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client
