About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking caring and dependable Caregivers in Philadelphia to provide personalized support and companionship to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- CNA, HHA, DC certification, or equivalent experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and trustworthy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle preferred for applicable assignments
- Ability to meet company requirements and complete required documentation
- ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility and daily activities
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Help with errands and grocery shopping as needed
- Encourage independence and maintain clients’ dignity
- Communicate client needs or changes to the office team
