About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship to seniors and veterans in their homes in Vidor, Texas, and surrounding areas. Care is tailored to each client’s individual needs and helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. The role offers flexible scheduling, with part-time, weekend, and overnight shifts available.

Requirements

• Compassionate heart and dependable attitude.
• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius of Vidor, Texas.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage client independence and engagement.
