About The Position
CareOne Senior Care is seeking a dependable caregiver for a high-level client in West Bloomfield, MI. This role offers consistent work with potential for additional hours and involves hands-on assistance, including mobility support. Experience with Hoyer lifts, wheelchair transfers, and PEG tubes is preferred. A valid driver's license is required as the caregiver may drive the client's transportation van. Dependability and consistency are crucial for this assignment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable and responsible
- Comfortable providing hands-on caregiving assistance
- Able to perform the essential physical duties of the position
- Strong communication skills
- Must pass a background check
- Current TB test or willingness to complete one
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and wheelchair transfers preferred
- PEG tube experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily routines
- Provide safe mobility and transfer assistance
- Assist with Hoyer lift and wheelchair transfers
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare meals
- Complete light housekeeping
- Provide companionship
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Assist with transportation as needed
