AL Caregiver
About The Position
We’re looking for dependable, reliable team members ready to step into a hands-on caregiving role in a fast-paced assisted living environment. At Dallas Retirement Village, our Caregivers play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming home for our residents while working closely with the care team. This is a hands-on position where you’ll provide direct support, assist with daily routines, and help ensure quality care and comfort for those we serve. Requirements
- Must possess a current CPR certification or be willing to obtain one with assistance from the facility
- Must possess a current Food Handlers certification or be willing to obtain one with assistance from the facility
- Must be able to read, understand and write in English to perform documentation each shift
- Must interact tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government staff and the general public.
- Must be highly customer service oriented and dedicated to providing superior hospitality and service to our residents.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working as a caregiver and/or with the geriatric population is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in the personal care of Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, in accordance with state regulations and facility policies and procedures.
