About The Position

2nd Family of Glen Ellyn is hiring caregivers to support seniors and adults who need assistance, companionship, and support to remain comfortable at home. Caregivers help clients maintain independence, comfort, dignity, and quality of life in their own homes. Responsibilities vary according to each client’s needs. The role offers flexible scheduling and support from a dedicated Care Coordinator. The agency is interviewing and conducting new-hire orientations now.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Dependability, compassion, and commitment to providing quality care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving, home care, senior care, or personal care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders and support with daily routines.
