About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes. This role offers flexible hours that fit your availability and the opportunity to do meaningful work. Most current opportunities are for weekday daytime shifts, though schedules vary based on client needs. We welcome experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and those with hands-on caregiving experience without formal certification.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Bathing and toileting assistance
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation
• Following individualized plans of care
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and the office team
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
