About The Position
Senior Helpers is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one personal care to help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. This role involves fitting your area of expertise to the seniors you'll care for. If you are a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys helping others, takes pride in making a difference in people's lives, and wants professional growth within a company, this caregiver position is for you. Senior Helpers caregivers provide a helping hand by having fun, engaging conversations with clients, participating in their favorite hobbies, prepping meals, and assisting with daily activities of living. You will also report on completed activities and provide updates on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance
- Must speak and understand fluent English
- Must have a clean criminal history (no felons)

Responsibilities
- Having fun, engaging conversations with your clients to build real relationships
- Participating in your clients' favorite hobbies — scrapbooking, gardening, games, and more
- Prepping meals for your clients to enjoy
- Assisting with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
- Reporting on completed activities and providing updates on your clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
