About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers in the Port Charlotte area to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. This role offers flexible daytime work, primarily weekday shifts, while helping seniors remain comfortable and supported at home. We welcome experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and experienced caregivers without CNA or HHA certification who have hands-on caregiving experience. We recognize our direct care staff as our greatest asset and offer competitive compensation, initial & ongoing training, flexible hours, and a friendly & supportive work atmosphere.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Bathing and toileting assistance
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation
• Following individualized plans of care
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and the office team
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
• Other duties as assigned
