About The Position
Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support a client in their home. This role focuses on providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities in a safe and respectful manner. The client is blind.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable assisting a visually impaired client
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
- Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Experience with incontinence care is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with dressing and personal grooming
- Prepare simple meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Assist with grocery shopping
- Support clients with incontinence care
- Help maintain a safe and clean home environment
- Assist with scheduling appointments for physicians and laboratory visits
