About The Position

CareLinx by Sharecare is a nationwide caregiver registry that connects experienced caregivers with clients needing non-clinical, in-home care. The platform allows caregivers to set their own availability and preferences, with CareLinx handling the matching process. Caregivers work alongside a dedicated Care Partner team to find suitable matches based on location, client needs, and availability. The role emphasizes making a difference in clients' daily lives while respecting the caregiver's time and expertise. Caregivers are expected to use the CareLinx app for scheduling, documentation, and communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience, OR relevant education/certification (CNA, HHA, MA, or equivalent)
  • Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app (required for scheduling, documentation, and timesheets)
  • Ability to communicate in English (bilingual caregivers strongly encouraged to apply)
  • Reliable transportation to and from client homes
  • Must pass a background check
  • Completion of program-specific training prior to accepting shifts (may apply depending on assignment)
  • Medical clearance such as TB test, physical exam, or drug screening (may apply depending on assignment)
  • Valid driver's license and MVR check if accepting driving shifts (may apply depending on assignment)
  • Additional documentation may be required based on state law or client contract

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping
  • Complete and document all care tasks accurately in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift
  • Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition or self-care abilities to the CareLinx clinical team
  • Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app
  • Communicate with your Care Partner regarding any case updates or client changes
  • Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe and secure environment
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Provide transportation and errand support (additional opportunity)

  • Assist with telehealth navigation (additional opportunity)
