Requirements

• Minimum of two years of professional healthcare or in-home caregiving experience.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfers, and ambulation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of home.
• Comfortable working with both male and female clients.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Performing transfers and encouraging ambulation.
• Preparing meals.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Offering companionship.
• Performing light housekeeping.
• Running errands.
• Encouraging clients to remain active and engaged.
• Communicating any changes in a client's condition to the care team.
