About The Position

Adelmo Family Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to help seniors stay independent and safe in their homes. We are a mission-driven organization focused on protecting the dignity, independence, and daily life of seniors in our community. Our caregivers are crucial in identifying small changes in clients' daily lives through observation and reporting, which helps us provide a higher level of care and respond faster. We utilize Albert.ai to support a smarter, more connected care system. We serve Joplin, Webb City, Carthage, Neosho, Baxter Springs, Pittsburg, Diamond, and surrounding communities.

Requirements

• Age 21-79
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• No smoking during shifts (must be able to refrain for at least 4 hours)
• Cannot hire individuals with a criminal record, DUI/DWI, recent substance abuse history, or communicable disease (e.g., tuberculosis).

Responsibilities

• Help seniors stay safe at home.
