About The Position

Actively Hiring Caregivers for 12-Hour AM/PM Shifts in Carlsbad. Cheer Home Care is looking for compassionate individuals to provide non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to help clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home. This position offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Assisting with activities of daily living and dementia care.
• Able to provide mobility assistance, transfers, and physical support (up to 100–150 lbs).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to drive client in their vehicle (mileage reimbursement included).
• Must have a smartphone with internet access.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep.
• Provide transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
• Provide specialized care for Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Hospice, and more.
• Perform light housekeeping and organization.
• Offer companionship to clients.
