About The Position

CareLinx by Sharecare is a nationwide caregiver registry that connects experienced caregivers with clients. Caregivers set their own availability through the CareLinx app, and the company matches them with clients based on schedule, preferences, and goals. The role involves providing non-clinical, in-home care to health plan members and private clients. Caregivers work with a dedicated Care Partner team to find suitable matches. The platform emphasizes consistent schedules, app engagement, and proactive communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience, OR relevant education/certification (CNA, HHA, MA, or equivalent)
  • Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app (for scheduling, documentation, and timesheets)
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Reliable transportation to and from client homes
  • Must pass a background check

  • Bilingual caregivers strongly encouraged to apply
  • Completion of program-specific training prior to accepting shifts (may apply depending on assignment)
  • Medical clearance such as TB test, physical exam, or drug screening (may apply depending on assignment)
  • Valid driver's license and MVR check if accepting driving shifts (program-specific requirements)

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping
  • Complete and document all care tasks accurately in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift
  • Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition or self-care abilities to the CareLinx clinical team
  • Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app
  • Communicate with your Care Partner regarding any case updates or client changes
  • Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe and secure environment
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Provide transportation and errand support (additional opportunity)
  • Act as a hospital discharge escort — safely accompanying members home after discharge (additional opportunity)
  • Assist with telehealth navigation — helping members connect with virtual doctor visits (additional opportunity)
