About The Position

Star Light Home Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care to clients in the Montrose and Grand Junction, Colorado areas. The role pays $21 per hour, plus travel time and mileage reimbursement. Day, evening, and overnight shifts are available to support 24/7 care, as well as short shifts. Requirements

Previous caregiving, home health, or personal care aide (PCA) experience is preferred.
Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
Ability to pass a background check.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a client schedule.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client care plans.
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean home environment.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors.
Travel to client homes throughout the Grand Junction area.
