About The Position

Griswold Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the homes they love as they age. The role serves clients in the Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina areas, with day and overnight shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours. Shift times and schedules vary by client, and full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Caregivers can build a schedule around their availability and receive support from the office team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Current TB test or willingness to obtain one.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Dependable, compassionate, and professional.
Ability to remain attentive and engaged throughout a 12-hour shift.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Griswold team.

Nice To Haves

Caregiving experience is preferred.
Consistent day, night, and/or weekend availability is especially helpful.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and supervision.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
Assist with mobility and transfers.
Prepare meals.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform light housekeeping.
Provide transportation or assistance with errands.
Monitor clients during day or overnight shifts.
Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
Communicate updates and concerns to the Griswold office team.
