About The Position
Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is hiring in-home Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Providers. You work with a small set of clients you get to know well, on a schedule built around your availability.
Requirements
- One or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working independently
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, or PCP certification preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and keep clients safe at home
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities, following the care plan
- Help with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal preparation
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, and shopping
- Report changes in a client's condition to the care team
- Complete 12 hours of annual training through Caregiver University
