About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking dedicated Caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors and adults who want to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The role involves individualized support that promotes each client's independence, dignity, and well-being. Caregivers work independently in clients' homes and follow individualized care plans and client preferences. The employer offers flexible full-time and part-time opportunities, with short, extended, day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts. Caregivers may assist with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and companionship. Requirements
- Be caring, dependable, and respectful.
- Be patient and have a positive attitude.
- Communicate effectively in English.
- Be comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in caregiving or home care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients walk safely and assist with transfers and repositioning.
- Prepare nutritious meals and provide dining assistance when needed.
- Complete light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe living environment.
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional encouragement.
- Follow individualized care plans and client preferences.
