About The Position

We are seeking talented and team-oriented Caregivers to join our Balfour – Louisville community. We are committed to a work environment of integrity, respect and a customer focus. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, providing companionship, responding to emergencies, documenting care, and ensuring resident service plans are current. The position also includes passing medications and reviewing daily reports.

Requirements

High school education or GED equivalent preferred
First Aid certification and CPR, if required
Must meet state training requirements and/or certifications
Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) if required
PCA if required
QMAP requirements must be met

Responsibilities

Assist residents with simple requests as needed
Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other activities
Provide companionship and develop strong resident relations
Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures
Document care provided to residents consistent
Provide input to assure that resident individual service plans are current
Review 24 hour report and care check lists regularly
Pass meds
