About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring and compassionate Caregiver to provide service for clients in the Sarasota area. Our caregivers provide companionship, comfort, independence, and peace of mind to seniors and families. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients while working with a supportive team. Requirements

• Previous caregiving, CNA, HHA, or home care experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism
• Must complete all required employment screenings and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing and toileting
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Following individualized care plans
• Promoting client comfort, safety, and independence
• Communicating professionally with families and team members
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
