About The Position

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to join their team in providing excellent care for senior residents in their secured memory care unit. Caregivers assist residents with activities of daily living, occasional light housekeeping, escorting to/from meals, serving prepared food, medication management services, and other various assisted living services. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide selfless service to residents in their end-of-life years, aiming to bring safety and joy to both residents and their families.

Requirements

• Pass a criminal background check
• Be responsible and self-motivated to work independently
• Be cooperative and encouraging as part of a team
• Have a genuine caring attitude for providing service to seniors who struggle with an array of emotions and needs in various stages of memory loss
• Be able to speak professionally and compassionately to families dealing with their loved ones' memory loss
• Demonstrate reliability and follow-through
• Pay attention to details and correctly follow instructions so as to provide consistent and excellent care

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living
