Caregiver
About The Position
REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves taking the initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities. You will support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition. Caregivers will provide care for people with a variety of needs, including autism and similar conditions, assisting with personal hygiene and providing support to individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs in assisted living settings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stay calm and problem solve in stressful situations
- Patient
- Compassionate
- Reliable
- Responsible
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance (in some positions)

- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
Responsibilities
