About The Position

Assisting Hands Deerfield is seeking experienced caregivers to provide assistance to clients. This role involves helping clients with various daily living activities, including personal care, companionship, and household tasks. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with 12-hour shifts available.

Requirements

• 2+ years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to North Chicago.
• Comfortable assisting both male and female clients.
• Experience with personal care.
• Experience assisting bed-bound individuals.
• No restrictions concerning type of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, including conversation and engaging in activities like playing games or watching TV.
• Assist with personal care, such as bathing (including bed baths), dressing, and incontinence care.
• Provide bed care.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Provide medication reminders.
