About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is looking for compassionate and dependable caregivers in the Punta Gorda area to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. If you're looking for flexible hours that fit your availability while doing work that truly matters, we'd love to hear from you. Most of our current opportunities are weekday daytime shifts, although schedules vary based on client needs. We welcome experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and experienced caregivers without CNA or HHA certification who have hands-on caregiving experience.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Nice To Haves

• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Bathing and toileting assistance
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation
• Following individualized plans of care
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and the office team
• Other duties as assigned
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
