About The Position

IMMEDIATELY HIRING IN-HOME CAREGIVERS Service Area: GAINESVILLE, DAWSONVILLE, FLOWERY BRANCH, DAHLONEGA AND SURROUNDING AREAS Are you passionate about working with the elderly? Do you have a calling to help those in need? If so, Southern Companions would like to speak to you! We are a privately owned company that was formed with a mission to provide a high level of care for the elderly, disabled and post-operative patients. Currently seeking an enthusiastic team of caregivers to offer in-home care. We are licensed and service 26 counties in Georgia and provide one-on-one care which allows us to gain a better understanding of each client's needs. While we prefer at least two years of experience or a CNA certification, we offer extensive training to ensure caregivers are comfortable in their job setting. Your professional growth matters to us and we will help you reach the goals you need to succeed. Skills and other qualifications needed: Reliable – time management is a must. Valid TB test, CPR and First Aid certifications. Southern Companions is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to clients in Gainesville, GA. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and ensuring the safety and comfort of individuals who require support.

Requirements

Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to the needs of clients.
Must pass background checks and comply with company policies.
Up to date TB, First Aid and CPR certificates.
Caregivers must have a dependable car and valid license and insurance.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of experience or a CNA certification.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide medication reminders and help manage daily health routines.
Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments or errands.
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
