About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Greater Mission Viejo is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Caregivers. This role offers flexible schedules with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. The position involves providing non-medical elderly care and home companionship, assisting seniors with daily tasks to help them live as fully and independently as possible in their own homes. Responsibilities include laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, maintaining personal hygiene, aiding with bathing and feeding, and providing companionship, especially to those with dementia or cognitive impairments. The role also requires careful documentation and communication with the office regarding client needs and conditions.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and Driver's License
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ Years of home care or facility experience

Nice To Haves

• Registered with Guardian a PLUS but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship.
• Assist with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene.
• Aid clients with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding.
• Provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates.
• Communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of clients.
