About The Position

This role is for a reliable, caring caregiver for daytime shifts. The caregiver will provide non-medical in-home care, companionship, and support to older adults in Kirkland, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Redmond, Seattle, and surrounding areas. The position involves creating genuine connections, assisting with personal care needs, maintaining a safe home environment, providing transportation, and offering compassionate companionship. The work aims to promote comfort, trust, belonging, dignity, independence, and social connection for clients.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, an insured vehicle, and a willingness to drive clients
• CNA or HCA certification required
• One year or more of experience supporting older adults
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be available for Day Shift and Short Shifts
• Clear background check and drug test
• Comfortable working around pets (dogs and cats)

Nice To Haves

• Prefer a high school degree or GED

Responsibilities

• Create genuine connections through companionship and emotional presence that promote comfort, trust, and belonging
• Help with everyday personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, and daily routines while preserving dignity and independence
• Maintain a safe, tidy home environment through light cleaning and simple household support
• Offer transportation to medical visits, errands, and community outings that support independence and social connection
• Provide consistent, attentive support focused on safety, comfort, and overall well-being
• Offer steady, compassionate companionship that helps older adults feel at ease, appreciated, and socially connected
