About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring part-time CAREgivers to provide compassionate, non-medical care that helps seniors remain safely and comfortably in their own homes while maintaining dignity, independence, and quality of life. The role includes building supportive relationships with clients and receiving paid orientation, comprehensive training, ongoing education, and training in areas such as dementia and palliative care.

Caregivers may assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities; provide companionship and emotional support; perform light housekeeping and meal preparation; run errands and assist with appointments; provide medication reminders; and support clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Assignments are offered in local communities, matched near the caregiver’s home whenever possible.

Scheduling is flexible, with 4-, 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts available, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend options. Pay is described as a base range of $13–$18 per hour based on experience, with shift differentials and additional earning opportunities. The posting also lists a $13–$16 hourly pay range.
