Caregiver
About The Position
AbaCares Services is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide high-quality care to individuals in need. This position offers a competitive rate and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, providing companionship and emotional support, monitoring and reporting changes in client's health status, and following care plans to ensure client safety. The approved weekly hours for this position are 43.23, with a schedule from Monday to Sunday, 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Key duties include meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing, dressing, applying cream, and mobility assistance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant, or similar role.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check.
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and follow care plans accurately.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical ability to perform the position's duties, including lifting and transferring clients as needed.
- A commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic care to individuals in need.
