About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join their team. The role involves providing hands-on assistance to clients in the Portland, Oregon area, with a focus on full-time hours Monday through Friday. The company emphasizes high standards of care and improving the lives of their clients. Caregivers must be over 21 years old and will receive paid training if needed.

Requirements

Caregiver with at least two years of caregiver professional experience, highly preferred
Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics
Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check
Ability to communicate effectively with seniors
Must be reliable and dependable
Must be over the age of 21

Responsibilities

Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding
Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation
Following each client's Care Plan
