About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide 1-on-1 home care for clients. We offer both full-time and part-time hours with flexible scheduling options, including short visits and longer shifts. Immediate placement is available for qualified candidates. Requirements

Minimum one (1) year of caregiver, CNA, HHA, DSP, experience is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Driver's license & reliable transportation with auto insurance
CPR Certification w/Hands-On Training
Work Physical and Negative TB Test
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Various personal caregiver services as necessary to meet the client’s or patient’s needs
Fall prevention
Toileting & hygiene assistance
Assisting with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
Assisting the client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
