About The Position

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client in Milwaukee. This role involves assisting with personal care, companionship, and daily living activities while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the client. Assisting Hands Home Care provides compassionate, dependable in-home care that helps individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
• Experience working with clients with dementia preferred
• Experience with incontinence care preferred
• Experience using a gait belt preferred
• Ability to safely assist and support client mobility and weight transfers
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient
• Strong communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing and showering
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with grocery shopping
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Prepare meals
• Help maintain a safe home environment
• Assist with scheduling appointments for physicians and laboratory visits
• Provide support with mobility and transfers
• Assist clients with incontinence care
