Requirements

• CHHA qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional caregiver experience.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive, and access to a car or other means of transportation.
• Willingness to commute within Fairfield County, Connecticut.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Bank account capable of receiving direct deposits.
• No serious criminal offenses, as confirmed by a background check.
• Ability to lift significant weight and assist with transferring clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and social interaction.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare meals and shop for groceries.
• Supervise client safety and assist with safe mobility to help prevent falls.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Transport clients to errands and appointments.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with filling prescriptions.
• Follow the care plan and submit daily and weekly reports of notes and changes in health status to the Care Team.
• Facilitate and manage medical appointments and related health activities.
• Attend monthly in-service trainings.
