About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is looking for compassionate caregivers in Venice to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes. This is an opportunity to do meaningful work while maintaining flexibility in your schedule. Whether you're looking for part-time hours, additional work, or a long-term caregiving opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. Most of our current opportunities are weekday daytime shifts. We welcome experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and experienced caregivers without CNA or HHA certification who have hands-on caregiving experience.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation
• Following individualized plans of care
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and office staff
• Other duties as assigned
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
• Providing companionship
