About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Barton Hills, MI. The Caregiver will provide essential support and assistance to clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their daily lives.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass background checks
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is an asset, but NOT required
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members
- Help with light housekeeping and errands as needed
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
