About The Position

BAYADA is hiring compassionate Caregivers, Home Health Aides, DSPs, and PCAs to serve clients in their homes in Richland and Lexington Counties through its Assistive Care State Programs (ACSP) Division. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, caregivers provide personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role involves one-on-one client care and building close relationships with clients. The posting advertises weekend-only work at $14 per hour, while also describing flexible scheduling options.

Requirements

At least one year of work experience.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, household support, and companion care according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed-making assistance.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
Deliver care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
