About The Position

Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to provide non-medical home care services to seniors in Landenberg, PA, West Grove, PA, and surrounding areas. This role offers consistency and continuity in assignments, allowing caregivers to build relationships with clients. The ideal candidate is a people-person who wants to make a difference in the lives of others while earning a decent livelihood. Requirements

• CNA, HHA, and DC Certification
• At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• Driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance
• Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray completed
• References, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Nice To Haves

• Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
• A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
• Companionship and friendship for seniors and their loved ones
• Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staff
• Perform all non-medical home care services as needed
