As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you provide hands-on support that helps clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. Senior Helpers provides non-medical in-home care that helps seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Our services include personal care, companion care, respite care, transitional care, and specialized care for Alzheimer’s, dementia, and Parkinson’s. Our mission is simple: care for our clients exceptionally well—and care for our caregivers just as thoughtfully.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
- Ability to treat clients with dignity, patience, and respect
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level
- Punctual, dependable, and committed to high-quality care
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required (we train the right people)
Responsibilities
- Building meaningful relationships through conversation and companionship
- Participating in clients’ favorite activities and hobbies
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Assisting with walking, dressing, bathing, and daily personal care
- Observing and reporting changes in clients’ physical condition, mood, or behavior
- Documenting care provided and communicating updates with the care team
