About The Position
Amada Senior Care is growing and looking for caring individuals to join their team as caregivers in Livingston, TX & surrounding areas. Caregivers are at the heart of everything they do, helping seniors and veterans stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. This role is for individuals who find helping others comes naturally and are looking for meaningful work where they can make a difference every day.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
- Must have 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Dependable and have reliable transportation.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Willing to travel throughout the Livingston area and surrounding communities.
- Strong communicators with a positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Experienced with Hoyer lifts and gait belts
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship based on each client’s individual needs.
- Personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Medication reminders.
- Mobility and transfer assistance.
- Transportation to appointments and errands.
- Companionship and emotional support.
- Encouraging client independence and engagement.
