About The Position
Rita's Care at Home LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our growing team in Shelbyville, TN. We are looking for overnight people. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals who need support, comfort, and care in the place they love most — home.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving, home health, or personal care experience.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to prevent falls and ensure safety
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands or transportation
