About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring a Caregiver / Home Care Aide to provide one-on-one care to a senior in their home in Amherst, NH. This is a consistent Saturday and Sunday position, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. It's a great opportunity if you want dependable weekend hours while keeping your weekdays available for family, school, another job, or personal commitments. Caregiving experience is preferred, and training is available for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Dependable, compassionate, patient, and comfortable providing hands-on care
- Enjoy helping seniors
- Reliable and responsible
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable providing personal care
- Reliable transportation when required
- Able to consistently work Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Nice To Haves
- NH LNA license
- Previous PCA/caregiving experience
- Experience with senior care
- Experience with dementia care
Responsibilities
- Personal care assistance
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assistance with mobility and daily activities
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Companionship
- Medication reminders
- Assistance with errands and everyday needs
- Following the client's care plan
- Reporting changes in the client's condition or needs
