About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate and reliable Caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Caregivers offer companionship and emotional support, assist with personal care and daily living needs, prepare meals, provide medication reminders, perform light housekeeping and laundry, run errands and grocery shop, and transport clients to appointments. Care documentation is completed using a smartphone. Day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts are available.

Requirements

• Be dependable, compassionate, and professional.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active automobile insurance.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for clocking in and out and documentation.
• Must enjoy assisting others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with seniors or adults with disabilities is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus.
