About The Position
Senior Helpers is currently hiring compassionate and dependable caregivers to serve seniors throughout Central Iowa, including Ames, Boone, and surrounding communities. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships while providing essential support that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence for older adults in their own homes. Senior Helpers thoughtfully matches caregivers with clients and offers comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure success. Requirements
- Compassionate, reliable individuals with a passion for serving seniors
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in assisted living, independent living, senior communities, nursing homes, home care, or similar healthcare settings is highly preferred
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare, assisted living, or a related field preferred
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to learn and grow
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal care, and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and dignified home environment
