About The Position
Amada Senior Care is growing and looking for dedicated, compassionate caregivers to join their team in Orange, TX, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of seniors and veterans by helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Requirements
- Caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals
- 2 years of caregiving experience is required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within a 25-mile radius
- Professional attitude & strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship & emotional support
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming & toileting
- Medication reminders
- Mobility & transfer assistance
- Transportation to appointments & errands
- Meal preparation & light housekeeping
- Observing and reporting changes in condition
- Encouraging independence and engagement
