About The Position
Village Caregiving - Point Pleasant is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers in Winfield, WV. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or related experience preferred but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to client care
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Basic knowledge of home safety and personal care techniques
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet company hiring standards
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
